You can now switch the A1VPN service off and back on from inside the app (Connect page). Turning it off stops the service, keeps it from starting with Windows, and releases the local-network routes the tunnel claims - so when the VPN cannot reach its server it no longer blocks access to your local network or the internet. The app also warns you whenever the tunnel adapter is up but not actually connected, and the installer now reports the correct version in Windows "Apps & features". Strongly recommended for all users.
